Day 134: Single-celled Organisms

Had a short excursion on Mother's Day. I figured why not? My own mother was on her way to Cuba with my dad (gave her a card before taking them to the airport that morning), and my own teenage daughter was too busy to remember it was a 'special' day. We don't really make a fuss over anything around here. My husband offered to cook dinner after I decided what I was going to make, so that was nice because I was exhausted from a long afternoon/night in Brooklyn attending and shooting a dear friend's wedding then getting up early for the drive to the airport.
I have yet to really get my teeth into this new direction I thought I wanted to take with these self-portraits as I think I'm finally finding a real groove and intuition about posing my body better thanks to paying more attention to wonderful contemporaries of mine like Silke Seybold and Kristine Diven.
Anyway, I wanted to share a few more from my recent trip up to the Pocono area (and I still have many I have yet to process)! Also a couple more from a trip before that. Folks were asking about purchasing this first one, below, so I wanted to get it up here.
